The Great Lakes Christian College Crusaders traveled on the road for the first time this season to take on Holy Cross College in South Bend, Indiana. The Crusaders jumped out the gate quickly to get on top the Saints early. Quincy Green had three steals in the first four minutes of the game that pressure gave the Crusaders a 19-14 lead. The Crusaders offense stalled at that point and the Saints found rhythm offensively and went on a 21-8 run to take the lead. The Saints built their lead up to 8 points, as the first half closed Green nailed a three from the left wing to cut the lead to 5.
The second half the Crusaders came out flat and the Saints opened up the half on an 13-2 run in the first four minutes to get separation. The Crusaders would not challenge the rest of the game. Coach Westerlund went to his bench early to try and find the spark, and the Crusaders were able to get four stops in a row, but the black and blue could not get anything going offensively. The Saints cruised to a 77-56 win over GLCC.

- GLCC only attempted 53 shots tonight after averaging 73.5 in their first two games.
- The Crusaders turned it over a season high 19 times compared to the Saints 14 times.
- Crusaders had only 7 assists on 19 field goals compared to the Saints 15 assists on 27 field goals
- Ja'Quin Jones led the Crusaders with 13 points on 4/6 shooting.
What Coach Says:
"The first half we were there. We were not as sharp as I would have liked but we were in a good position. The second half we lacked the energy necessary to win the ball game. Ultimately we need to do a better job offensively sharing the ball and getting the right shots. Holy Cross is really good at what they do, they are a hard team to come back on when they build a lead. Tonight we shot ourselves in the foot with a lot of just careless turnovers. I think we had 5 or 6 travels tonight. We just need to be better plain and simple." On his bench play, "I thought we had great minutes from our bench again tonight from Jay to Chailen August, Amir Huston Jr., and Chance Pickens-Roberts, all of our bench guys brought energy tonight. They showed heart and character tonight and I am proud of them." On the team's offense, "We need to be better. Our defense has been really good. We just need to get our offense to catch up to our defense."
