Women's Basketball Loses at Lincoln Christian

LINCOLN, Ill. - Great Lakes Christian College women's basketball lost on the road on Saturday, 76-57, to Lincoln Christian University.

Lincoln jumped out to an early 12-2 lead, which Great Lakes never came back from. LCU went on a 10-0 run in the second to push their advantage to 40-19 and took a 43-21 lead to the locker room.

Great Lakes made it a game in the third, going on a 14-2 run and even cutting the lead to single digits early in the fourth, but the Lions outscored the visitors 23-16 in the fourth and pulled away for a 76-57 win.

Tilly Guild led GLCC with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Mystic Striker scored 19.

Keseanna Watson scored a game-high 27 points for Lincoln and picked up 14 rebounds. LCU made 6/14 three-pointers (42.9%). GLCC shot merely 2/19 (10.5%) from three.
