Men's Soccer Loses League Clash With Moody

CHICAGO - Great Lakes Christian College men's soccer (0-7, 0-2) was blanked on the road again on Wednesday, this time dropping an 8-0 result to NCCAA II Moody Bible Institute (3-3, 0-0).

The Archers split their goals between the halves, leading 4-0 at the break and scoring another four goals in the final 45 minutes to win 8-0.

Moody launched 47 shots goalwards, requiring a season-high 14 saves from GLCC goalkeeper Jordan Harrison. On the other end, Great Lakes managed just four shots, two on frame.

Despite the result, head coach Ian Kurth said his team "actually played well," but noted that they "gave up some soft goals tonight... tough spills."

Up Next: Great Lakes will host Fairhaven Baptist on Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Henderson Field. That game will be streamed live on YouTube.
