Senior Spotlight: Bonny Kibuuka, Men's Soccer

LANSING, Mich. - Senior Bonny Kibuuka was a critical piece for Great Lakes men's soccer as they re-launched their program in 2019-20.

Kibuuka, originally from Kampala, Uganda, was one of very few players returning from the program's last season in 2017-18, a season in which he led the team in scoring, including the winning goal against Fairhaven Baptist.

In 2019-20, Kibuuka was named captain and played an important leadership role on the team. Despite missing time due to injury, he played in 13 games for Great Lakes and scored a pair of goals, good for second on the team. He led the team in shots on target with 10. He will graduate this year with a degree in Cross-cultural Ministry.
