Women's Basketball Offense Stalls Against the Mighty Titans

South Bend, Ind.—Great Lakes Christian College women's basketball team traveled to South Bend for another exhibition game against Indiana University South Bend Titans. The Crusaders would score the first two points of the game but the Titans would settle in answer that basket with a 23-0 run to build their lead. The Crusaders would continue struggle offensively going into the half down 47-7. Despite the lead the Crusaders continued to fight and battle with the Titans.

The Titans depth and speed proved to be a challenge for the Crusaders. IUSB drained 15/30 from three point land and shot a red hot 40/69 from the field for 58%. The Crusaders were led by Sophomore forward, Oghenehoke Johnson's 8 points and 7 rebounds.

  • The Crusaders shot 8/51 from the field on the game.
  • Abby O'Dell led all scorers with 28 points, including hit 7 threes
  • The Titans scored  68 points off the bench.
  • Holly Epps grabbed her first career rebound for the Crusaders
