Women’s Basketball Ends Road Stretch With Loss At Lourdes

SYLVANIA, Ohio - Great Lakes Christian College women's basketball (0-6, 0-0) concluded a long road stretch on Saturday with an 86-43 loss at NAIA II Lourdes University (4-4, 1-1).

Lourdes scored the first nine points of the game and never looked back. The Gray Wolves continued to roll in the second, scoring the first 11 points in the period and taking a commanding 43-19 lead to the break.

Lourdes continued to build its lead as the second half progressed, outscoring Great Lakes in both the third and fourth quarters en route to an 86-43 win.

  • GLCC shot only 24.1% (14/58) from the field, while Lourdes shot 48% (36/75).
  • Three Great Lakes players scored in double-digits, led by Mystic Striker with 14. Oghenehoke Johnson and Kerlanda Dervil each scored 12.
  • Great Lakes committed 15 turnovers in the game, one more than Lourdes.
