Women's Basketball Falls at Home vs. Bethel

LANSING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College women's basketball (0-12) could not find their offensive rhythm in their return home on Friday night, dropping a 71-43 result to the visiting NAIA Bethel College (Indiana) Pilots (10-6).

Both teams struggled from the floor early, but once the Pilots' offense started to click, they opened up a 19-10 lead by the end of the first. Bethel continued to build their lead in the second and took a 39-21 advantage to halftime.

The lead did not get much bigger for the visitors, but Great Lakes was unable to cut into it as their shooting woes continued and Bethel took away a 71-43 win.

  • Great Lakes shot 12/48 (25%) from the floor; Bethel shot 30/65 (46.2%).
