Women's Basketball Beaten by Efficient Wilberforce

WILBERFORCE, Ohio - The Wilberforce Bulldogs put on an offensive show against the visiting women's basketball team from Great Lakes Christian College on Tuesday, routing their visitors, 93-42.

The Bulldogs scored at least 23 points in each of the first three quarters while Great Lakes never scored more than 13. Wilberforce opened up a double-digit lead in the first quarter, 23-11 and continued to grow it throughout the contest as they shot 60.7% from the floor in the game. After leading 50-24 at halftime, the Bulldogs cruised in the second half, keeping Great Lakes in single digits in both of the final two quarters and taking away a 93-42 win.

  • Mustafa Notter led all scorers with 16 for Wilberforce.
  • Kerlunda Dervil led Great Lakes with 13 points.
  • While Wilberforce made 37 of 61 shots from the floor (60.7%), Great Lakes made only 16 of 41 (39%).
