MANITOWOC, WISC. - Great Lakes women's basketball (0-19) lost on the road at Silver Lake College (7-16) on Friday, 70-53.

The visitors kept the game close early, trailing 21-12 after one quarter, but did not outscore the Lakers in any quarter during the game. After Silver Lake took a 37-27 lead to halftime, Great Lakes trimmed the lead to four in the third, but a 16-5 run by the Lakers to end the third put the game away as the hosts earned a 70-53 win.

• Mystic Striker picked up another double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
• Oghenehoke Johnson scored 13 points and Azhure Shotwell grabbed 11 rebounds.
• Silver Lake's Hailee Kotche led all players with 22 points and 16 rebounds.
• Great Lakes struggled from the floor again, shooting 25.7% (19/74).
