History made at first National Tournament

As the Crusaders continue to make history, they entered the NCCAA National Tournament as the #6 seed for their first appearance in program history. They faced #3 Toccoa Falls College, who eventually made it to the National Championship as the Runner Up.

The Crusaders fell short in a tough matchup. The final score was 78-59. Devan Buda showcased her talent, leading all scorers with 17 points. Leah Yanko added 16 points and 9 rebounds. Buda and Yanko made 7 three pointers combined.

Makensie Mondy added 12 points and 7 rebounds.

Randi Fitzgerald collected 10 points and 8 rebounds.

Mykenzie Kent brought down 9 rebounds and added 2 points.

Brianna Vinton added 2 points off of the bench.

 

The Crusaders will now face #7 Calvary University in their second match up of the NCCAA National Tournament.
