Katy Shannon is in her first season as coach at Great Lakes. Katy initially joined the Crusaders team as assistant, but immediately agreed to Interim Head Coach after unfortunate circumstances occurred. Katy has since acted as Head Coach and has brought the team to success.

 

Born and raised in Lansing, Katy played four years of basketball at Lansing Catholic High School. She went on to play four years at Adrian College, serving as a team captain her senior year. Katy most recently coached Lansing Catholic Jr. Cougars Boys and Girls Basketball. 

 

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in Management and Public Relations from Adrian College.
