CHICAGO, Ill.- Great Lakes Christian Women's Volleyball traveled to Chicago to open their season. In Coach Balogh's debut on the sidelines for GLCC the women's volleyball team displayed a lot of promising things despite being shorthanded. Taking two matches to the fifth set and winning a set in the other two matches they had on the weekend. Unfortunately the Lady Crusaders fell short in all 4 games making them 0-4 to start the season.

Sofia Marcolongo led the team in kills and points. Ending the weekend with 45 kills and 52 points.

The Crusaders look to bounce back against Indiana University East on the road September
3rd where they will take on IU East and Lourdes University in a Trimatch in Richmond, Indiana.
