Great Lakes kept their momentum going with a big NCCAA win over Maranatha Baptist University. The win came after going 2–1 At the Mideast/Midwest Crossover, Winning 5 of their last 6 games. The Crusaders opened up the second semester in conference play vs Maranatha Baptist University from Wisconsin.

Crusaders jumped out to an early 18-4 lead with a couple 3 pointers from Banks, Williams-Day, and Wright Jr. After that early run the Crusaders maintained a substantial lead over the Sabercats for the duration of the game.

The Crusaders shot 10-23 (43.5%) from three and 40-74 (54.1%) from the floor as everyone who checked into the game got onto the scored. Gabe Montes making his season debut led all bench scorers with 12 points. Kevin Wright Jr led all in assists with 9. And Ray Askins led all in rebounds with 6.
