The Great Lakes Christian College Men's Basketball program kicked off their NCCAA DII conference play against a tough Simmons College program. A program who had previously made it to the NCCAA Mideast Championship just two years ago.

Simmons came out firing and jumped out into an early lead in the first half. That lead didn’t last long as the Crusaders stormed back with Darien Banks leading all scorers on the night with 25 points and Devin Watts chipping in off the bench with 13 Points.

The Crusaders ended the night victorious in a 79-64 win.
