LANSING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College men's soccer was better, but still a long way off in Tuesday's rematch with Grace Christian University, losing 5-0 to a team that had beaten them 13-0 two weeks before.
Great Lakes held the visitors out for the first quarter-hour until Grace scored a pair of quick goals in the 18th and 20th minutes to take the lead.
After taking a 3-0 lead to halftime, GCU finished the job in the second half with two more goals to push the final margin to 5-0.
Alexzander Walker saved 11 of Grace's 24 shots in the game. Great Lakes was never on target on four attempts.
GLCC will next face Maranatha Baptist on the road at 5:00 in Watertown, Wisc. on Saturday.
