Men's Soccer score 15 in resounding win over Fairhaven

LANSING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College men's soccer won in convincing fashion over Fairhaven Baptist College on Saturday, 15-0. The game took place on turf at Hope Soccer Complex due to recent rain risking the condition of Henderson Field.

GLCC jumped in front in the first minute on a Reddeck McMeeken goal and did not look back. They scored five more in the first half to take a 6-0 lead to the break.

Great Lakes continued to roll in the second half, adding three more in the first five minutes after halftime. GLCC would ultimately score nine in the final 45 minutes en route to a 15-0 win.

McMeeken led GLCC with four goals and Ezekiel Furst scored three, the first of his Great Lakes career. Alexzander Walker and Kenan Kennedy both scored two. Leonce Ndayisaba, Zach Johnson, Gavin Talley and Damari Reid all scored as well, including a first career goal for Reid.

GLCC took 58 shots in the game, including 24 on target. Jaden Talley also picked up the clean sheet as none of Fairhaven's four shots were on frame.

Great Lakes are currently scheduled to face Fairhaven again in their next game, next Wednesday in Chesterton, Indiana.
