Great Lakes Christian College Women's Volleyball program opens NCCAA play with two Home wins.
The Crusaders of Great Lakes Volleyball program won two NCCAA match ups against Kuyper College and Moody Bible Institute. The first match was on Sept. 11th versus Kuyper college. Great Lakes won in three straight sets with scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-14. Second match of the week verses Moody Bible was a 3-1 victory for the Crusaders with scores of 25-27, 25-17, 25-23, 25-15.
Coach Melvin Balogh had this to say - “We started off a little slow, but it was good to get it going and get the wins” Head Coach Melvin Balogh said. “We didn’t play the last five points well in set 1 verses Moody, however we bounced back and played well the rest of the match.”
