LANSING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College women's basketball came up short in a home clash with Glen Oaks Community College on Wednesday, 76-48.
The game was close in the first quarter, but the visiting Vikings held Great Lakes to only nine points in the second quarter to take a 42-23 lead to halftime. GOCC kept the pressure on in the second half and cruised to a 76-48 win.
Kerlanda Dervil led GLCC with 16 points. Kennedy Musselman led Glen Oaks with 21. GLCC shot only 16/70 (22.9%) for the game and 3/21 (14.3%) from beyond the arc.
Up Next: The team will travel to Bethel, Ind. for an exhibition with Bethal College on Tuesday.
