
LANSING, Mich. - The Great Lakes Christian College Women's Basketball team was back in action Saturday as they took on Glen Oaks CC in a non conference matchup. The Lady Crusaders jumped out on the Vikings early takeing 15-7 lead in the first quarter. The Crusaders were able to maintain that lead headed into the half with a 26-17 advantage at the break. In the second half the Vikings did what they could remain close enough to make it interesting. The fourth quarter is where it got a little crazy for the Crusaders as the Vikings mounted a big comeback as the Crusaders offense stalled through the first five minutes of the fourth only generating four points, but GLCC showed resilience as Tajeah Cross and Mystic Striker willed the Crusaders to victory. The duo combined for 38 points and 19 rebounds and 6 assists in the 60-58 win.
