WBB offense explodes in big NCCAA Midwest win

The Great Lakes Christian College Women's Basketball team came out firing with their first game of 2024 defeating Maranatha Baptist University 92-47.
 
The Crusaders finished the first quarter leading 32-14 and cruised to victory.
6 players scored in double figures for the Crusaders, Leading the way for Great Lakes was Makenzie Mondy who chipped in with 23 points, 11 rebounds , and 10 assists.
Randi Fitzgerald added 22 points and 10 rebounds, Sakura Nakano had 14 points, Leah Yanko also chipped in with 11 points including 3-5 from the 3-point line.
Mykenzie Kent and Devan Buda making her return back from injury both dropped 10 points each.
 
The Crusaders improved their record to 5-9 on the season and Maranatha Baptist University are now 4 - 9 on the season.
WBB are up next on Wednesday at Kuyper College with a 5pm tip-off
