The Crusader Women's soccer program lost their first game of the season after losing Illinois College in a non-conference match on Thursday at England Stadium.

GLCC fall to 3-1-3 on the season.

The Crusaders allowed 2 goals, once in each half.

After a long drive down to Jacksonville, Illinois the Crusaders got off to a slow start, Allowing the first goal less than 5 minutes into the game. The Crusaders settled into a rythm and were looking for a way back into the game. No more goals in the 1st half for either team.

The 2nd half started with the Crusaders putting pressure onto IC and trying to stay on the front foot. Unfortunately for the Crusaders the game was put to bed when IC managed to secure a 2nd goal.

IC outshot the Crusaders, 12-5 on the night.
