1 Goal and 3 Assists from Waller power the Crusaders into the National Semi Finals

Kissimmee, Florida

National Tournament - 1st Round

The Crusaders traveled down to Kissimmee, Florida to take part in their 4th National tournament in as many years. The Crusaders (#3) took on Randall University (#6) in the first round.

The Crusaders looked to continue their hot streak in front of goal as the camped into the Randall half early and were rewarded with a penalty kick 4 minutes into the game.

Unfortunately Allie Ferrall was unable to convert from the spot and the score remained locked at 0 - 0.

Randall was able to keep the Crusaders off the board until Meela York broke the deadlock with 8 minutes left in the half. York was able to get on the end of a Chelsea Waller corner to put the Crusaders up 1.

HT 1 - 0

The Crusaders came out of the HT break looking to put immediate pressure onto the Saints of Randall University. 3 Minutes into the 2nd half Abby Jones was able to get on the end of another Chelsea Waller corner to put the Crusaders up 2.

Chelsea Waller was able to add to her 2 assists by neaty finishing a Meela York breakaway that swept across the face of the goal begging to be put away, Waller obliged with a 1st time left footed finish to put the tie out of reach for the Saints.

As the game went on an error on the Great Lakes back line allowed the Randall forward to get insife the box and put them on the board with a great finish, 3 -1

Coach Sam Sibilski brought in the reinforcements to finish the game strong, Chelsea Waller was able to add her 3rd assists of the night with a fantastic through ball to Amy Benitez who beat the Randall defender and was able to go around the goalkeeper to finish into an empty net and ice the game at 4 - 1.

Final Score 4 - 1 - Next up Providence university in a rematch from the 2022 National Championship game
