Women's Volleyball drops two at home to Dayspring

LANSING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College women's volleyball lost a pair of matches in straight sets to Dayspring Bible College on Friday.

Dayspring took an early lead and never looked back in game one, rolling to a 3-0 win (25-25, 25-18, 25-8).

In game two, Great Lakes took the first set to a tiebreaker, but Dayspring held out to win the set, 29-27, and won games two and three handily, 25-10 and 25-13.

Alissa Nugent was Great Lakes' most efficient attacker in the two games, scoring eight kills off 25 attacks with four errors (.167).

Laura Ganong led GLCC with seven blocks in the two games.

Great Lakes will host Dayspring and Grace Christian at the GLCC Classic in Lansing on Saturday.
