Women's Volleyball drops two at home tri-match

LANSING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College women's volleyball is still looking for its first win after losing to both Moody Bible Institute and Concordia Ann Arbor's reserve team at a home tri-match on Thursday.

Great Lakes faced Moody in game one and fight back from a 5-0 deficit to take the lead in the first set, but Moody scored the last two points to take set one, 25-23. Moody went on to take sets two and three, 25-14 and 25-19, to sweep the first game of the day.

After losing to Moody in the second game of the tri-match Concordia Ann Arbor's reserve squad faced Great Lakes. The game followed a similar script as GLCC's first game: the first set was competitive, Concordia holding off Great Lakes to win 25-20, but sets two and three were less so, with Concordia winning 25-15 and 25-6 to complete the sweep.
